Subject:Acid won't playback saved files

I tried oppening some old acid projects that I want to finish up, and it keeps giving me a message saying that "An error occured during playback, the specified device is in use." I don't know what this means because I just got done loading the wave files from a loops CD for the project. It looks like it loads the song ok, it just won't play it back for some reason.

Sounds like another program is not letting go of your soundcard or midi device. Try a restart.

Are you using ASIO in ACID? That could potentially be the issue, because many many ASIO drivers for cards do not support access from multiple pieces of software. Switching to Classic Windows Wave drivers (MME/WDM) should take care of the issue.
