cant play any other sound apart from defaulted piano in acid 4 midi using dls synth

You may have better results with 4.0a if you don't have it already. But probably better to wait for 4.0b.

Do a search for "DLS" in the forums and you should find the directions to be able to change the patches in the DLS. I'd tell you but I can't remember exactly off the top of my head (it's kind of a process).
