Is there a way to convert Acid loops to 24bit 96k? Will samples that are in 16 bit 44k work in Cubase VST32 when Cubase is set to 24bit 96k?

You could use Batch Converter 5 (which also comes with Sound Forge 6), but be prepared for the file size increase, which will typically double the amount.

You don't have to convert them to the higher resolution and sample rate, as it won't improve the quality of the already-existing audio, but any post-processing you do (like effects) using 24-bit/96 kHz will be better.

I can't exactly help with the Cubase question. Doesn't it resample the audio on the fly like ACID does?

I don't think so. When I was using Cubase VST 5.1, anything I imported from Acid 3 sped up and the pitch went up too. Totally useless.
