When I go to a MIDI file's properties and change the patch in the List Editor, I first get a message that says there is an error and the program can not do an "auto-save". Then ACID crashes horribly and needs to be shut down from the task manager. Sigh... specs: Pentium 2 450 354 MB RAM Audiophile 24 bit Windows 2000 |

Doug, Try any of the following: 1. Clean out your Acid temp directory (ie, delete all the autosaves). 2. Check the disk the project is saved on for errors. 3. Copy/Paste all the components to a new project file. I had this problem before. For whatever reason, the project file was corrupted. The odd thing is that it allowed me to save to the same file, but the Save As function and the Autosave feature both froze and crashed it every time. Copying the contents to a new file alleviated the problem. HTH, Nick |

I have the same problem. Why does it have to be so complicated!!! They could make it work like any standard MIDI app.. I would hate to have to go back to Voyetra Sequencer Plus! |

Could whatever's going on here be why my projects don't show up in my Most Recent Files list unless I hit Save As a jillion times? |
