Getting Started with Sound Forge Studio6.0(new version) -Sound Forge - PC

Subject:Getting Started with Sound Forge Studio6.0(new version) Posted by: skatevet Date:10/18/2002 2:30:44 PM I recently purchased the Sound Forge Studio 6.0(new version). I am an absolute beginner with this type of editing program. I would truly appreciate it if someone could take me through the steps necessary to record tracks to be edited, the specific ways to edit from these tracks,and then the combining fo these tracks into one track to be burned to CD. Also I would like to know the steps required to change the speed of a edited track so that it will blend more smoothly with tracks of different tempo or speed. Are there specific steps< I need to take when I burn these combined tracks to CD? I realize these are all basic questions, but I really am just starting out with this program. Thank you all for your time and patience.

Pick up the full Sound Forge 6 manual. Lots of info in there. (Any info pertaining to the full version of Sound Forge only will be marked by a red icon. The rest can be applied to Studio 6.)
