HELP --> Getting no audio playback from mp3's rendered directly out of V.V. 3.0b

LTrain wrote on 10/16/2002, 9:30 AM
Whenever I try to render an mp3 directly out of Vegas Video 3.0b, the process executes thoroughly as if it has successfully completed the rendering. However, when I go to listen back to the mp3 (from within Windows Media Player, Sound Forge 5.0, etc.), it is blank (no audio). I am running from within Windows 2000, and this occurs regardless of whatever kbps setting is chosen. Please note that Vegas Video 3.0b allowed me to successfully render the very first mp3 I tried (a few weeks ago). This first mp3 (and only this one) played back fine, but after that, the scenario listed above has been occurring every time I try to render. Another strange thing is that I can render mp3s fine from within Sound Forge 5.0. If anyone can lend some insight as to why this might be occurring or how to go about resolving the Issue, please let me know. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Try upgrading to vegas video 3.0c. During the install When it says you have existing file on your hard drive hit yes to all to replace any files that could of gotton corrupt.

Try again with 3.0c and let me know if it works.
