Subject:sound effects... HELP!!!

what are sound effects under, how do i insert then in sections of my music, i need lazers and whips and punches and voices, where does this program have these things? i have acid 3.0 and im mixing a cheering routine music, help please! email: Avroman@cisunix.unh.edu ...AIM name: AnneV3384, please help asap

ACID doesn't include any sound effects, but you can import any sound files that you find elsewhere.

Do you have the Pro version of Acid 3? Because if so, there's 1,001 sound effects on the application CD that came bundled with Sound Forge XP 5.

Mean Rabbit has sound effects in .zip files that are organized for easy download based on genre. If you don't really know where to look, or look efficiently, this might be a good source for you. The samples are of varying quality, but you can find some great stuff in here: http://www.meanrabbit.com.

There's so much to learn, isn't there? :) Kind of makes you appreciate the work people do a little more when you hear it!

You listen to music in a completely different way after you've started working with these apps.
