Subject:Long startup for ACID 4.0

I am new user and I am having only one problem that is more annoying than anything else.

I have talked with SF and tried everthing suggested to no avail.

ACID takes anywhere from 2 - 3 minutes to startup. I have a HP Pavillion with a 500mhz Celeron Processor. I also run LogicAudio 4.8.1 and Reason 1.0 and do not have this problem with either of them.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Any suggestions/solutions would be appreciated.

(P.S. I do not have any ATI products on this computer.)

one thing you can check is... in the options/preferances menu, you can un-select the first three boxes.
-splash screen on starup
-open last file
-net notify

this may help a little....

I had that problem until I uninstalled v3.
