From what I've seen of cheerleader routines, I would suggest that you get your clips to the proper length, add them to the project as beat mapped tracks (as long as they aren't mixed on top of each other, they don't have to be beat mapped perfectly, just close to get the tempo set). Start the project with your starting tempo, draw the first clip in. Add a tempo marker at the end to set your new tempo, draw in your next song. Continue until they are all sequenced. Add in your FX afterwards.

I have done MANY of these and my suggestion is:

- Create a basic background beat
- Cut your songs in 16, 32 or 64 beats measures
- Mix them over your background beat
- Apply them a filter to remove the bass from the tracks
- Use your background beat to jump from one song to the other mixed with some overdubs

You must also make sure that your songs "sound" good at high BPMs (104 - 160)
