last week I changed my computer for athlon xp 1800 motherboard A7V333 256 DDR 40 GIG 7200RPM WESTERN DIDITAL I'M ON WINDOWS XP AND I HAVE A DELTA 44. SINCE I CHANGED MY SYSTEME I HAVE A LOT OF PROBLEMS WITH THE SOUND IN ALL THE SF PRODUCT I TRYED THE NEW DRIVERS, OLD DRIVERS ,CHANGE BUFFER SIZE OF MY SOUND CARD AND IN VEGAS & ACID. WHAT DO I HAVE TO CHANGE ? THANKS FOR ANY HELP ROBY |

Sorry!I have sound forge 6,acid 4,vegas 2 in sound forge ,a lots of click & crack and it's not a vinyl. The same problem in all of my SF program. I think i'm gonna change my processor for a intel? roby |

Post some more details of your setup and perhaps somebody can assist you. What video card & driver? did you configure (optimize) Windows XP for audio? Do you have other apps or utilities installed and/or running? etc, etc. Examine all of these areas carefully before ditching the athlon. If this is a new system, there's a chance there could be a problem with the mobo or the processor but I don't think an Intel processor is the magic bullet here . . . imo. ;-) drbam |

And then maybe try updating your VIA 4 in 1 drivers to the latest version. You may also need to follow some Windows tweaking tips. If you have not optimized your PC for audio, you need to. TeeCee |

Jacose, you must have very young eyes AND not do very much reading on a computer monitor. Those of us with older eyes or who DO do a lot of reading online need a little more consideration. What putting things in all caps does is make it very, very difficult to read the type. That's because everything is all in one even line, making for eye fatigue. Also, typographers know that when you're setting things in all caps, you have to loosen up the word spacing to making it even remotely readable unless you're aiming for some kind of special effect...and that only in type intended more for a graphical effect that doesn't require much reading. You can't loosen up word spacing in text-based email. After many years of reading on a computer, most people who see a long string of capital letters just hit the Delete or Next key. So people who really would like their messages read and replied to will increase their chances by understanding why people are "sensitive" to the all-caps issue. |

hey.. just playin around m8.. I do have young (im 21) and very good (20/20 vision) eyes.... I dont mean to criticize anyone, sorry. and writing in caps has been compared to listening to white noise, for people of any age.... it makes you want to shut it off... I dunno I guess I found it funny ATM, didnt mean to be mean. |
