Acid Pro 3 projects still can't open in Pro 4 -ACID Product Family

Subject:Acid Pro 3 projects still can't open in Pro 4 Posted by: Lestat Date:10/14/2002 5:00:31 AM Even after installing AcidPro 4a build 237, I can't open ANY of my AcidPro3 projects. In fact I can but the playback is full of clicks and cracks, stutters like hell.Anyone?

In the window with your project already open, use CTRL+A on your keyboard. This should select all of your data. Use CTRL+C on your keyboard. Switch to the blank ACID 4.0 window. Use CTRL+V to paste. You'll have to adjust tempo, key and any FX parameters in the new window. I know older projects from ACID Pro 3.0 open and playback fine in ACID Pro 4.0 for me. Is ACID Pro 3.0 still installed? Try uninstalling it and leaving ACID Pro 4.0. Even though they should coexist just fine, some users report better stability with ACID Pro 4.0 when ACID Pro 3.0 is uninstalled. HTH, Iacobus

Try this:

With ACID Pro 4.0 and one of your projects open, open another ACID Pro 4.0 window. In the window with your project already open, use CTRL+A on your keyboard. This should select all of your data. Use CTRL+C on your keyboard. Switch to the blank ACID 4.0 window. Use CTRL+V to paste. You'll have to adjust tempo, key and any FX parameters in the new window.

I know older projects from ACID Pro 3.0 open and playback fine in ACID Pro 4.0 for me. Is ACID Pro 3.0 still installed? Try uninstalling it and leaving ACID Pro 4.0. Even though they should coexist just fine, some users report better stability with ACID Pro 4.0 when ACID Pro 3.0 is uninstalled.
