Alright... How does one do the following...

After recording a kick butt melody using my soft synth, I am wanting
to make the track into a wave... or at least turn another track into
a wave clone of the track w/ the soft synth sonds I had recorded?
This will allow me to add effects to them...

How do I do it?

Solo the MIDI track by pressing the ! button, then set your loop region to the length of the MIDI track. Then hit File, Render As, Wave. Make sure the little box in the corner is checked to "Render Loop Region Only".

You can also use the same method but instead of using File>Render As on the menu bar, use CTRL+M on your keyboard, tick the Render loop region only option and give the newly rendered track a name.

This will effectively bounce down the MIDI track into a WAV (or whatever valid format is available) and add it to your project. You can then delete the original MIDI track from the project if you'd like at that point. (Note, of course, this does not delete your original MIDI track itself.)
