now we are talking. SoFo might wanna partner with a company like this. They are definitely pushing the capabilities of ACID along(and keeping 'whiners' like me off SoFo's asses!)

A glimpse of what the future should hold. There are gonna be some nice plugins appearing! these are cool, original ideas!

OPT has given third parties a new opportunity to show their stuff in MIDI without having to code an entire 'do everything' application. Less development cost to many parties, and more competition means a better product.

The modular approach is the way to go, as with DX and VSTi plugs, this will be revolutionary :o)

Just started playing with them. It's a good start for working in Acid. Only 3 days to demo, though.

perhaps i should rework my post about OPTs future i was a little sceptical about, these new OPTs arent that bad, at least the GUI of "Stolen Tracks" and "Doldrums" is much better than that of Swinger etc.
perhaps one day we get a little Cubase Midi editor as OPT plugin...

The ddrums is pretty neat. Took a bit to work out how it does things, but it does present a nice method of remapping drum patches to different keys.

Now where did I put those shades of mine...<g>

DDrums is for drums tracks only as far as I can tell.

I just added it and loaded in a drum trax MID type 0 file. I was routed to the DLS synth. I told DDrums to use the Roland GS set and it just mapped things over for me.

It does need to have drums on channel 10 I believe. Haven't really dug deep into how it works yet.
