hey folks,

decloaking here for a moment. question:

would it be a major deal to reconfigure the message board, so that multiple messages could be read in one go? the way it's configured now, you see the first post, then you have to hit a link to see EVERY post beyond that. zowee...lots of time clicking links, refreshing screens, and back and forths.

i've really been interested in following these threads, but it sure takes some time. i'm on a pretty fast DSL hookup, too.

as an example of, IMHO, a more fun and functional board, this is a link to the Line6 forums. each topic just needs a scroll to see the next message, so you can back up if you need to without clicking another link, and you can either hit 'previous' or 'next' to move through the topics, rather than ALWAYS going back to the main index.

just a thought. take care.

Click the 'Edit Account' button.
Change the View setting to 'Non-Threaded'

Thats a great idea, but lets fix acid first. Or maybe we can get a virtual piano roll that works in html? LOL.

hee.

Nope, they want you to use their crappy one. Like or don't, we dont care...we give you what we want, not what you need(according to them).

You are wrong. We do care.

You want something that we just don't have available right now. How can I give you something that doesn't exist?

I have repeatedly said we will improve our PR. I can't say when or what improvements will appear.

You are right, you have no choice but to use the PR and list editor we provide to edit MIDI inside of ACID. There are alternatives. You can edit your MIDI files in an external editor. While this is far from an ideal method of working, it is a solution.

I just don't know what else to tell you any more.

Ah! What a difference a setting makes! Thanks for the non-threading tip.

The only thing I wish we had now was a way to set up our account to automatically send replies to our emails directly to our email box. But developing Acid is FAR more important!

waynegee:
That's the SoFo bashing I'm talking about. This was a thread askin about the way the forum looks, and you're making a comment on SoFo's attitude. Worse is that the forum can simply be made to do what the guy wants it to. And still a comment on SoFo's attitude.
