In my best Joey Lawrence impression: "Whooooahh!!!" That's going to make a lot of people happy. Probably will bring a lot more business back to SoFo too.

Uh-Oh, SoFo...you're scaring me...could you be coming to your senses? Could you be actually agressive in grabbing your rightful share of the audio market? Could you actually be trying to take your rightful place as the leaders/innovators in the echelon of audio software? Are you trying to grab the brass ring? Are you trying to...(*shhhh*)...compete? Well, if so...welcome back...I support you 100%! I now look forward to see what becomes of Vegas.

Did anyone catch this...CD Architect will be available as a download only from Sonic Foundry in early November. MSRP: $299. Available as a free `beta version' starting mid-October, 2002---This should be mandatory for ALL further releases. Looking forward to "beta testing" Vegas 4. Later.

its still overpriced though if it was priced at 100 bucks this app could be simply the best selling cd burning software ever the older version was simply fantastic
but vastly overpriced as is this even with its features and it will hit a brick wall
with the general public because of it
give to the masses i say!

still it is good news

Speaking of pricing, what compares to CD Architect? I bought Cakewalk's Pyro, spent about 30 minutes with it and haven't re-opened it. The track placement features suck. I added markers and regions in Sound Forge (effectively adding $400 to the price of Pyro) and Pyro didn't see them.
