Subject:Anyone get Sonic, Ninja or Rebel VSTi's to work?

Acid recognizes them as VSTi's and puts them in my folder. They show up in the project, but there's no playback. It's weird because they all have output meters on them and it will show that something's being played, but there is no sound. I haven't had a problem like this with any other VSTi. Any idea's? |

I have same problem. (I've managed to run them in Cubase tho). Can't find any secret buttons to obtain audio. It appears to be an incompatibility with Acid. CosmoGirl and Cosmosynth work well, Free avail.from K-v-R |

Yeah, I actually just downloaded CosmoGirl II today. Pretty sweet for effects. Trippy stuff. |

Anon and Migaloo, I've gotten all three to work, but I'm not exactly sure how. I too had the problem where they would load and respond to input, but not play. I believe the solution is to load each one as a VSTi in a new projeect, and then try to play them. Then start a new project and load them again. Reset the program. Load them again. Do this several times to see if it works (that's about what I was doing). I remember reading in the documentation that Cubase has a problem where these instruments don't load properly the first time. I'm thikning Acid behaves the same way. Hope this helps, Nick |

Thanks Nick, I'll give it a shot. I actually read in the Readme about that problem with Cubase and wondered if it might be something similar with Acid. |

Thanks Nick. I've heard them in Cubase and it's worth trying. |
