Subject:VSTi with Acid 4?

Ok does, VSTi mean instrument like a sampler or software synth or does it mean plugin like a deesser, compressor etc? I ask this because I wanted to know if I could use the software sampler Halion with Acid.

VSTi is the instrument standard .. like samplers, synths etc. Yes, Pro 4 supports instruments .. go ahead and use Halion with it.
