Hello everyone, I just got the acid pro 4.0 demo (awaiting the shipping of my full version) and have jumped into it from using acid 2.0 This program is awesome and works great on my system. I have been having trouble getting my keyboard to play properly with midi. I have a rolands jx305 groovy synth with midi capabilities. This is plugged into Creative soundblaster platinum 5.1 live drive IR two midi jacks. (the out from keyboard plugged into the in on computer)(and the out on computer plugged into the in on keyboard. The problem is my keyboard will play demo songs and notes but it uses a synthesiser built into my computer. For example I am playing different patches on the keyboard like slow strings and drums but constantly get a piano sound from computer. Any help on how to get the jx305 to play regular while transmiting midi during recording, or how to use the jx305 sounds(patches) with acids piano roll feature will be appreciated. THanks alot for the help....astral (I have been experimenting with the keyboards midi controls while trying different midi settings on keyboard that are mension in the jx305's user manual but with no luck). |

look up in the knowledge data base under Acid support Acid 4.0 - ITEM# 1662 - "Changing the Voice Used On A Midi Track in Acid 4.0 Pro". I found this and printed it out to keep next to my keyboards. It did the trick - Hope this helps. s/ dca |
