I would use this method if you don't wish to use the mouse: 1) Position the edit cursor at the begining of your desired loop region 2) Press 'D' until the Time Selection Tool is selected 3) Now you can either: a) Hold 'Shift' and use the arrow to select the region you wish b) Do 'CTRL' + 'Shift' + 'G' and type in the end time for the loop region you desire Hope this helps, Nate |

Thats cool... Is there a way to shuttle the loop selection? It looks like with this method I can only move the right end of the loop reigon from the keyboard. |

If there is a way to "shuttle" the loop region without the mouse, the I am unaware of it. With the mouse, you can just grab the region by the top edge and drag it around. Sorry I couldn't be of more help this time. If you are a person who finds reaching for the mouse annoying and time consuming, perhaps getting an nice big trackball and just setting it next to your keyboard would be a good solution. There isn't much reaching involved and you often get assignable buttons with it. Setting one to be Mouse3 (middle-click) can be useful for scrolling around in your projects quickly. Hope this helps. Actually, the loop region follows the same keyboard shortcuts that are used for manipulating the Chopper selection: ; - halves the loop region ' - doubled the loop region , - shifts the loop region left (by the loop region length) . - shifts the loop region right (by the loop region length) Is this what you are looking for? |
