There's a product called Slow Gold "designed to help you decipher your favorite guitar, sax, keyboard or any other solo parts by slowing the music down but keeping the same key."

Can Acid do this easily?

Thanks,
Kurt

If sample is acidised, then Acid will keep the same key whilst stretching. If sample is not acidised, the option for keychange is available in properties.

How do I "Acidize" a sample?

Okay... Nevermind, I was looking in the wrong place! :]

I found the Time Stretch FX, which works great! Thanks.

No need to acidize, just get a fixed beat length for your sample, drop it into Acid draw in some loops, and set the tempo. Best part about it is you could stretch for say 5 minutes and up the tempo with a tempo change in your project every 16 measures, 32 measures, whatever, so you can gradually speed up your playback. By default, Acid will not change the pitch.
