Subject:VSTi Dopouts in 4.0a Posted by: pgunders Date:9/22/2002 1:34:32 AM Remaining bugs (are you reading SF?): --I can record MIDI, but my soft-synths (Reaktor, Triangle II) often simply drop out after a few minutes. The Acid loops continue to play, but no MIDI triggered soft-synths. Other times the soft-synth sound is heavily distorted. --If I stop the audio with my cursor docked in a MIDI area, MIDI notes will sound at a very loud volume. The MIDI implementation just seems really buggy. --Acid 4.0a doesn't remember previous settings. If I designate a folder as a destination folder for MIDI/audio recording, then Acid should keep that setting the next time I start it up. This is a real inconvenience. 4.0a is definitely better than 4.0, but the whole program still feels like a Beta version and not a public release. And so begins the wait for 4.0b...
