In the market for a good midi Keyboard Master Controller to connect External Hardware plus SoftSynths. Heard about Oxygen8,the brands by Evolution, and Studiologic (Fatar), synth or piano key action and the like. What are you MIDI-Heads using and WHy? Got my 1st Project with Acid4.0 up on AcidPLanet(http://www.acidplanet.com/Lounge/Detail.asp?PID=200640) stole that BugSpray jpeg from a forum User. Thanks |

I picked up a Oxygen8 so I could have something small with keys and several knobs, and it's been quite a delight. Probably the best functioning device I have ever gotten from M-Audio. Since I did not need anything more than a couple octaves of keys and any real feel to the keys, the Oxygen8 looked like the best bang for the buck with all the knobs and sliders. My experience so far has been fantastic, and I loooove using it with Reason. Hex www.freesidemusic.com |

I already had a Korg Prophecy - 37 keys and can transmit about 9 MIDI CC's. I also have a Kawaii K-5000S - much more keys, semi weighted action (keys reportedly by Fatar) with 12 knobs that reportedly transmit MIDI CCs. The Kawaii can usually be picked upi used for about $500 and is also a sound source (what will they think of next). And I have a DrumKAT 3.5 with two PoleKats and a KicKat and a Peavey PC-1600 v2, 50 banks of 16 programmable sliders and buttons. I use all of these to control soft stuff. TeeCee |
