Firt of all big respect to SoFo on 4.0a. The latency on my system has come down from a flakey 40mS to a rock solid 10mS.

And sync with Fruity works - what a dream!

However, I've found a couple of issues that need reporting (I'll log these on the Fruity forum as well, cos I'm not sure if they're bugs/limitations with Acid or Fruity.)

The most serious is a rendering issue. If I create a simple Acid project - say a four on the floor kick pattern, sync up to Fruity and put a snare on the off beat it all sounds fine on playback from Acid. Perfect sync even round Acid loop points.

But when I render from Acid the timing of the Fruity track is way out - the first snare plays slightly after the 7th Kick!

The second is that Fruity's settings aren't saved when the Acid project is saved, so you have to remmeber to save your .flp file before you close your Acid project. Not a big problem, but when you re-open an Acid project with a Fruity VSTi track, Fruity asks twice if you want to save default.flp before continuing. Again not a big problem, but certainly annoying - I thought you guys were talking???

Its great to see Fruity and Acid working together - this is something I've been wanting to do for a couple of years now. If you can irton out these issues the combination will be amazing.

btw - any chance of ever getting multiple VSTi outputs working with Acid 4??

Yeah Ive hit the same problem. The three things I hoped for in the update was that fruity would work properly, a metreonome (it cant be that difficult) and Tempo syncing with VSTi`s. The tempo syncing seem to work but not tested it properly.

A little disappointed with the update but hey I never had the major problems others have suffered with the original release.

Yep, the rendering thing is very annoying.
