Any word on the OPT front - AKA -ACID Product Family

Has anybody tried developing something themselves with the OPT SDK? I haven't seen hardly anything on the internet about it except for info on the Yamaha site and as compatibility features on Cakewalk and Sonic Foundry pages. I'm seriously hoping that Sonic Foundry will improve the functionality of the current MIDI editor, in lieu of any other options (neither in the form of the hypothetical Sonic Foundry "Midi Forge", nor any OPT offerings from 3rd party developers). What would be insanely beautiful, as I'm sure many would agree, is if Sonic Foundry (or anybody else, for that matter!) developed an OPT plugin modelled exactly from the late Opcode's Studio Vision product. That was the nearest to perfect sequencer ever made, (or so, many would contend!) and nothing else quite like it exists any more. (Thanks to Gibson Guitars) Any thoughts? Reports? WT
