How do you use the chopper on acid pro. deluxe 2.0 ? :P

the easiest thing to do is to point you to the help. from the pull-down menu's choose Help/Contents and Index, and do a search on "chopper". you'll get better information than anything i could post here in the allotted time.

also, can you refresh my memory about what acid pro 2.0 deluxe is?

btw, were you asking what is the proper way to use the chopper, or were you asking for the individual methods that people use the chopper? i often use the keyboard shortcuts in a patterned order to create patterns in the track's audio, and also i like to use it in a manual gapper/snipper kind of way. lately, i use chop to new in acid 4.0 quite a bit.

Like Joel said, using the Chopper is a great way to rearrange a loop to make it sound like it's something different, or even just extract what you want from a loop and leave the rest. It's also a great way to create granular synthesis type effects (like stuttering, gapping, etc.).

I'm a little confused since I don't remember a product called ACID Pro Deluxe 2.0 and as Jacose & Neil said there is no chopper in SoFo ACID Pro 2.0.
If the product is Screenblast ACID Deluxe 2.0 (made for the Sony deal) then that doesn't have the Chopper either since it's based on SoFo ACID Music 3.0. You wouldn't see it mentioned in the help because all references to SoFo products (including ACID Pro) were yanked.
