Hello Jason, Can you give some more details about your system? Also, are you trying to use the Mia's ASIO or WDM drivers? Iacobus |

im using the WDM drivers becuase that is all XP would let me choose... before though i was using the ASIO drivers in win 98se (or the other driver set besides wdm in the setup that one can chose from) the same thing is happening so its obvious it isnt the drivers installed.... there must be a conflict with acid 4 and MIA my system amd 1gig T-bird 512 ram radeon 8500 echo MIA Maudiophile 25/96 etc etc... thanks |

I have the Mia with an AMD 700Mhz Duron, 512mb ram, and 32mb ATI. It was running fine, until I noticed it was bleeding tracks into my recorded guitar stuff. When I got that fixed it worked fine for 5 takes. Then it crashed harder than a fat chick belly-flopping into a pool with no water. I'm hesitant to buy it now. At least until 4.0a comes out. I can't run any other audio app, such as Sound Forge(!), Cubasis VST, or even Windows Media player with Acid running. It's severly pissing me off!!! I'm thinking of just buying 3.0 and forgetting trying to track straight into Acid. I'll just use Cubasis for that. |

Can you use the Audiophile 2496 with ACID Pro 4.0? (Use WDM or get the beta drivers over at M-Audio if you want to use ASIO.) You might want to check out this little blurb for AMD users at Echo's Web site. Per usual, I always suggest to users to either reduce their video accleration a bit or turn it off altogether, as problematic video drivers cause a lot of problems for users. Might want to also head over to ATI's Web site and pick up their latest drivers for the Radeon, which were released last Thursday. HTH, Iacobus |

I have a KT133a chipset, and have all updated drivers. It's not my system, because every other audio app ran absolutely fine. It's 4.0. Until they fix it with a, I'm no longer interested. |
