Subject:How do I keep presets from 4.5?

We have 4.5 installed and used the Noise Reduction demo. Now we bought the 6.0/NR bundle and want to installl that while keeping our NR(and other) settings. Where are the user settings/presets kept? Will a 6.0 install(not upgrade) replace 4.5 or install separately and leave 4.5 presets where they are?

Go and get the Sonic Foundry Preset Manager (it's on the Soundforge download page). It is the best way to transfer your presets between programs or even machines. I use it all the time and it's great.

Sorry, did a search and found out about preset mgr. The question about 6 replacing 4.5 is still open.

The preset manager will save just your Direct X presets, which Sound Forge 4.5 plugs are not (unless you also had XFX 1,2,3). Sorry, but you'll have to re-designate your plug in parameters for 6.0.

Is there a demo version of 5 we could use to convert the 4.5 presets to 6? Maybe a 5.0 preset manager?
