Can you get a great mix in Acid 3.0 Pro or anything for that matter? Everyone seems to be on this big Mastering kick lately. We should all be good enough to do a great mix before we worry about mastering. If you read up on a mastering Engineer, and you read the tools they use, Acid can have plug in representatives of the tools they use, but it won't be the $$$$ hardware they use. Now can you use the possibly inferior plugins as well as they use their possibly superior hardware? That's the real question. TeeCee |

While you can create a great mix in ACID Pro itself, nothing beats having a digital audio editor (like Sound Forge or WaveLab with their extensive tools) to help massage your projects further, either at the track level or at the final mix level. Iacobus |
