Subject:Acid 4.0 recording audio

Am I missing something here, or should my audio tracks be separate from my loops and not bleed over?

I'm using the 4 Demo, and everytime I record a track for guitar, the hihat Acid loop I use as a click track bleeds into my guitar track. In other words, when the guitar track is played back by itself with something like Windows Media Player, you can hear the hihat.

Extremely annoying.

Sounds like a common problem - could be when you recorded the guitar track, there was bleed thru from your headphones.

or, you have to check your recording properties....

go to your volume control, then go to options/ properties...select the radio button "recording"

see what sources are being recorded.

Likely, you want onlt the Line in to be recorded. Uncheck all other boxes.

Right click the little speaker in your system tray (bottom right of the screen)
