Subject:Uninstall Acid Pro 3.0 before Installing 4.0?

My copy of Acid Pro 4.0 just arrived in the mail and I was wondering if I had to uninstall Acid 3.0 before installing 4.0. Would it create some type of conflict or cause my computer to crash if I leave both versions on my system?

from what i've read here i would leave a3 intact just in case a4 has drama. that way you don't have to re-install a3.

wait till you get a4 running properly for 30 days or so, then remove a3 when you feel confident you won't need it anymore.

I got better performance by uninstalling version 3.

but there were still many bugs, but it was better.

hi Midas,

you can run both versions simultaneously without problems.
I would keep always a 100% working stable 3.0 for opening 3.0 projects and switch only to 4.0 when 4.0 is at about vesion 4.0c or 4.0d.

Another fact is what i noticed that A4 doesnt give back A3 projects at 100%.
