Posted by: skysurfer Date:9/11/2002 12:22:29 PM I just purchased the new Steinberg Plex and tried it out under Acid 4 and this vsti like no other definetly NEEDS to sync to the host bpm, many of the presets (if not the whole plugin) are based on rhytmic modulations which are useless without a sync from the host. While FM7 works (under Acid 4) at least with a fixed bpm, the Plex doesnt modulate at all under A4. So please SOFO, i beg you to implement bpm sync as it is part of the VST 2 interface defintion and so important for using the vst instruments at 100%! Thank you very much for "hearing my scream". Make Acid 4 BIG !!

And in general, not only for Plex and BPM Sync, please work so that Acid 4 gets 100% VSTi compliant, because this is what I bought this product for, as this is the major upgrade from version 3.0. This includes adding a VSTi wrapper for VSTis without proprietary GUI. When I bought ACID PRO 4, it didn't say that it wouldn't work half my VSTis (actually, because of a crash problem when I scan the VstPlugins folder, it works with none). OK, let's say it was a beta release, but just because people already gave out their money, don't stop the effort to get this piece of software to a stable/production stage. Thank you by advance.
