Crash when selecting "OK" in SF 6. -Sound Forge - PC

Subject:Crash when selecting "OK" in SF 6. Posted by: ReliableSound Date:9/9/2002 2:08:07 PM I've noticed this problem on two totally different computers. Sometimes when I'm on a page that modifies a sound or its properties, i.e Edit Sample, and I hit "ENTER" to select the "OK" button, SF will crash and die on the spot. But, if I always use the mouse to actually hit the "OK" button, it never happens then. Anyone else have this? I know the simple answer is "always use the mouse", which is what I resort to. But "ENTER" is usually so much quicker, and sometimes I forget not to hit it. Very frustrating. -J.R.

Try updating your video card and sound card drivers, and also install the latest version of Sound Forge, 6.0b, if you haven't done so already. I just tried this on my Windows 2000 machine in the "Edit Sample" window and it didn't crash. I am running 6.0b. Ted
