I'm thinking of using SoundForge 6.0 or Vegas ( if I feel the need to multitrack), but I was thinking of using a USB audio device with a laptop and I wasn't sure if Sonic Foundry supports any of them. I'm looking at the Tascam US224, or the USB Audio Duo, or the EMagic EMI 6/2, or the Roland UA-5, or possibly another device if I see one that works for me. Is there a list of what USB Devices SonicFoundry supports? Do they work with ASIO 2.0? Thanks, Jim

I'm using a MIDI USB interface (Edirol UM-1S) and it works. It should be the same with audio interfaces. Read another topic about USB.

I would be very hesitant to buy a hardware device for a PC that is produced by a Mac-based company. Hex of Freeside
