With Acid 4, I have recorded MIDI drum parts on separate tracks (one for BD+SD, one for HH, one for congas, ...). I need to mix those tracks to one single MIDI track. Do I have to use an external tool or is there a way to do it with Acid ? |

There is a way for mixing MIDI tracks : In piano roll, copy and paste the MIDI notes from one track to another... But it's not easy at all if there are many tracks to mix ! Any function to do that ? |

I haven't tried this with multiple tracks, but if you have the SF midi router or some other internal midi routing system installed all you would need to do is assign all of your drum tracks to the same midi router output then hit record - midi then assign the midi router to record device and set the midi thru to what ever module your using for your drum sounds (you have to go into that instrument and assign its input as the midi router before hand) then hit record and let it bounce everything over.......I THINK that might work, but Ihaven't tried it, but I know thats pointing in the right direction..... |
