Subject:Default VSTi folder???

How can i change the path of the default vsti search folder? Not a huge deal, but it would be nice to tuck it away with all my other sofo stuff...

I would suggest making your VST plug-in directory independant of any particular suppliers software - I set mine to C:\Program Files\VST Plugins.

As to how to move it, it depends on your plugs. Some are happy just to have the .dll files moved, whilst others (most of the NI stuff, for example) have to be de-instaled and re-installed. I dont think there's an easy way of telling.

After you move it you have to tell your hosts where the new directory is (obviously!)
