Subject:ACID PRO 4 AND MOTU 828 ASIO NIGHTMARE

I was wondering if anyone else used a Motu 828 Firewire soundcard with Acid 4? The problem arises when selecting the firewire card in options instead of the classic wave driver. I have tried every latency setting available on the Motu from 96 to 1024 and they all glitch like i've never heard. Sounds like a machine gun at 384. I use Cubase and SX and have no problems at all with very low latency. Can anyone help? i really could do with using the separate outs on my motu.

Sadly I can't help you, but I can confirm that this is what happens on my system too (WinXP). The 828 is fine with ASIO drivers using Native Instruments Pro52 in standalone mode, so I think it is a conflict between Acid 4 and the MOTU drivers.
