Subject:ACID 3.0 question...3/4 time

Hi, quick question...I'm trying to do a remix for a song where the beat goes from 4/4 time in certain parts and 3/4 in other parts. Is there a workaround way that I can put a beat to this that will fit? Thanks!

As long as you’re going from 4/4 to 3/4 or "anything"/4, you can just put it in wherever you like. It will be a huge pain in the butt to do it because you'll have to do it manually instead of having the program do it for you. For the 3/4 parts you'll have to either manually build a beat, or use the chopper to create one. Again it would be a major undertaking, and unless you have an even number of measures in 3/4, you may not cycle around so that when the song returns to 4/4, beat 1 will be at the beginning of a measure. When the 4/4 part goes into 3/4, you'll need four measures of 3/4 for that to happen. Sounds confusing? It is. You'll just have to do the math for whatever time signature you're in and have a lot of patience. Don't know if there is a better way in 3.0. Acid Pro 4.0 has odd meter abilities, but I haven't received my copy yet.
