I just got Acid 4.0, it has ASIO, there's obviously a lot of potential for Acid to be a really serious tracker.. because it provides different options than other trackers. I have an Echo Gina/20 .. and right now I can just barely use ASIO at about 23ms latency, however if I do ANYTHING in Acid it gets really choppy. I'd like to know what sound card I can buy ( <= $500 please ) that will function best in Acid 4. Which one has the absolute lowest workable latency and ASIO support? I just need audio, as I already have a USB MIDI adapter. I'd love to hear any suggestions / recommendations! - Cowboy |

I vote for the Pulsar as well, but it's quite expensive. On the other hand the performance you're getting out of your current card seems a bit odd to me. I think maybe there's something wrong. This might help too: http://www.kvr-vst.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=81834#81834 |
