ACID 4 has corrupted one of my acid.zip music files. Is there anyway of recovering the wav files embedded into the zip.

Also, does anybody know if this a bug with ACID 4 or just bad luck.

Was this an acd-zip created with 4, or was it an old acd-zip made with 3.0? If it was a 3.0 acd-zip, and you opened and resaved it with 4.0, then it can only be opened in 4.0.

During testing I used acd-zip's a a lot and did not have any probelms. Have you expereienced any other problems with acd-zip, or is it only the one file?

It was created in Acid 3 but I did not save it to the Acid 4 format. However, both Acid 3 & 4 are now stating the file is corrupt.

it may not be the .acd part but the .zip part creating the problem.

It is very easy for .zip files to beomce corrupt.

Try opening the file with WinZip and see if it can read it. If so, extract the files into a folder and open the .acd file from there. Perhaps one or two files will be corrupt, but you'll get the rest.
