Subject:Behaviour of a MIDI track in the chopper

I've had some curious things happen with a MIDI track in the Chopper using "chop to new track". It just doesn't seem to chop the right length portion. That is, it seems to either include extra space at the start or end.

Audio tracks work perfectly - you select a tiny slice and that's exactly how big your new loop is. But MIDI tracks just don't seem to work in the same way.

Anyone else find this ?

Sounds like you found a bug. Of course audio is continuous, MIDI is discrete. It's
easy to know what to chop with audio -- whatever's selected. MIDI is a list of
events, and it's harder to infer the chunk size.

You should go through the support forms and log this as a bug though. Peter doesn't
have enough to do yet...

Thanks Spirit. This is a known issue that has been logged in our bug database. It should be fixed in the next update. Sorry for the inconvenience.
