I've been using a few apps besides acid lately and one hotkey i've grown quite accustomed to which I can't find in acid is the ability to set the loop region to a selected event. I've found ways to extend it across regions but i want to just select a single audio event (usually 1-4 bars) and then instantly snap the loop region to that point. Does anyone know if there's a quick way to do it? |

Well, it's not really a hotkey, but you can do this: choose the Time Selection tool (on the toolbar to the left of the Get Media button) and then double-click the event. This sets the loop region to the length of the event. You can then press Ctrl+D to quickly return to the Edit tool. Hope this helps. |

Try this: Hold down CTRL+SHIFT+ALT and then press the left or right arrow key. (Be sure to place the cursor at the beginning or end of the selected event first.) Tamara's suggestion is great too. HTH, Iacobus |
