Changing keys with audio loops - when going from say A to D, is it possible to tell Acid to go down 7 semitones rather than up 5? |

I don't know which way it goes from A to D, but if it's in the wrong direction, just raise (or lower) the entire track 12 semitones. |

sounds like you're adding a key change but you can also pitch events within a track by hitting the plus or minus keys after highlighting the event. |

Dratme -- to add to what's been said...yes, you can go down semitones for either a single event or an entire track. For a track, right-click the track and choose Properties from the shortcut menu. In the Track Properties window, enter a number in the Pitch Shift box. Use the minus key (-) before a number to pitch the track down that number of semitones. For an event, right-click the event and choose Properties from the shortcut menu. In the Event Properties dialog, enter a value in the Pitch Shift box. Use the minus key (-) before a number to pitch the track down that number of semitones. You can also select a track or event and use the plus (+) and minus (-) keys to pitch a track or event by single semitones. |
