Everytime I boot up Acid 4.0 It gives me a Core 32 VXD not installed or not working properly - then I hit - OK and it launches the program Any idea what this is or what I need to do to rectify this problem?? Thanks Kyle Schember www.rockstar.cd |

I take it you have or had a Lexicon audio card in your system? This is the kind of msg you will get if an ASIO driver is installed but the hardware doesn't exist in some cases. (Some ASIO drivers are just dumb, and others know that the hardware doesn't exist.) If you _don't_ have a Lexicon audio card in your system, then you need to remove the ASIO driver registration for this hardware. Run regedit and locate the following key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ASIO Exapand this and look for a reference to the Core32 hardware. Delete the key. This will prevent ACID from attempting to load the driver. Peter |

Thanks Peter! I used to have a Core 2 Card - I wised up and am now much happier with my Delta 66 Omni I'll do just what you recommended and remove that driver reference! Kyle www.rockstar.cd |
