Subject:Acid 4.0 fx automation in midi: how?

I understand how to do fx automation on a wav track. I can't figure out how to do it on a midi track. It IS possible, because it's done on the midi drum track on the "Hybrid" sample song that comes with Acid 4.0. I don't understand how to apply the envelope for the fx automation to the midi track. Midi tracks don't seem to have a selector for an fx automation envelope such as wavs do. Thanks in advance for your help.

ACID MIDI tracks don't permit Audio FX to be inserted. You insert FX on the Synth bus in the mixer. If the FX has automation, you then add envelopes to the "bus track" for the Soft synth bus. Type "u" to expose the bus tracks in ACID. You will then be able to add FX automation envelopes.
