I don't see a "scrub" tool, in the OPT midi piano roll editor. If it's there, somebody please help me find it. If not, that would be a very useful enhancement.

Why soytanly! It allows you to drag the mouse pointer across a problem area to find exactly where the bad note, etc. is. This is really helpful when something ratty gets into a chord, and you've got to isolate and fix (or delete) it.

I believe it is an adaptation of the practice of doing the same thing with audio tape, where one would rock the tape reels back and forth to run the same few inches of tape back and forth over the playback head to isolate a problem area (I'm sure some old-timer will correct me if I'm wrong on that one).

dlcham: quite right! I nominate you honorary old timer ;) I've used that technique many times locating the exact spot for cutting & splicing audio tape.

You're too kind! Do I win something like a Dogwood or Larry Norman T-shirt? ;D

By the way, I checked out your website. Keep up the good work!

here's another one -- from Cubase and other programs, if you click on the keyboard to the left of the piano roll, send the note to the current synth.

AND IMPLEMENT REWIRE

Oops, I'm not Maruuk!

I think that one works by clicking on the speaker icon (although I'm not sure why it isn't enabled by default). Is that what you're talking about?

We chose to have it off by default because it can be irritating to have everything your do in the piano roll or list editor play everthing back all the time.

Once you turn it on, it should stay enabled for that track.

No, nothing is planned.
