Anyone know of any 303 and/or 808,909 VSTi soft synths which are any good (preferably freeware/shareware)? Any suggestions welcome.

The best (but not a VSTi) is ReBirth by Propellerheads. Unfortunately ACID Pro 4.0 has no Rewire-support (which you need for ReBirth)........

Fruityloops is numero uno IMHO for this sort of thing. When the "match host tempo" bug is eliminated from AP4 then it will be a killer combo with Acid.

Knock yerself out.

Ultimately Fruity loops as a VSTi is the ultimate solute for this sort of thing,
but Acid 4 doesn't pass clock/tempo into VSTi just yet.
