Unpacks ok, but still get popup error Windows Installer Service cannot be accessed. I now cat install ANY sonic foundry product I have. tried to reinstall Acid 3, but get this error message. Please help, I have mailed to support, 3 days ago, but nothing.

I don't know if this will work, but try going to Microsoft's Windows Update site. That might help. Sounds like you need to update the Windows installer.

Also maybe you have something on your hard drive or missing from your hard drive that could be causing the problem. Another thing is you get free tech support with the purchase from Sonic Foundry, and they may be able to help you right over the phone or by E-Mail.

yeah, Ted H said that too, one of the first things I did, downloading windows installer for windows 2000 but I just get service already exists,thanks tho Rockitglider
