Does anybody know if both 3.0 and 4.0 can coexist on the same non-partitioned hard drive? I know that Acid XPress and 3.0 Pro can not. I wanted to look over XPress for a friend who was going to try it. I needed to answer a question, but I couldn't put XPress on without removing 3.0. But the real reason I ask? Can I try 4.0 without upsetting my 3.0 installation? If I try the demo or purchase 4.0 and have too much trouble with it, can I revert back to 3.0 with all my settings while I await the plethora of bug fixes to happen? 4.0 sounds real buggy. 3.0g even has its share of bugs. Any direction would be appreciated. Steve |

I have both programs on the same drive and have even had them both running at the same time with no ill effects. I think it is safe. Also, they install to different sub-directories. James |

They will work fine together, with one caution: You can open 3.0 files in 4.0, but if you save the .acd file in 4.0 you will NEVER be able to open it in 3.0 again. So if you're playing with both versions, make copies of your 3.0 .acd files before using them in 4.0 |
