ASIO for Delta (or other cards in same boat) -ACID Product Family

If you deselect "Close audio and midi ports when ACID is not the active application" (preferences/general), will this solve the aforementioned problem? SoFo support, any thoughts on this? FWIW: The problem is caused by the driver failing/faulting when we do an ASIO "disposebuffers" call to the driver. Peter

Unchecking the box I mentioned in my original post, did make a difference (no crashes)but the performance, well pretty bad. I don't seem to have any problems with the classic drivers. Since I monitor the input through my VS-2480 and can't really record midi with VST instruments, it really doesn't matter. Oh well.... Rich

Some can even go lower. I know this isn't ideal, but it does make things usable for VSTi live playback. Peter

It might be more effective than just having individual user's write in. Just notice that M-Audio is working on the problem would be very cool. P.G.

They are working on it. I can say we have recieved an early alpha driver that appeared to have the problem resolved. I don't know when they will be releasing the update. Peter

If you deselect "Close audio and midi ports when ACID is not the active application" (preferences/general), will this solve the aforementioned problem?

SoFo support, any thoughts on this?
