I have a SBLive! with a small MIDI keyboard. When I try to record a MIDI track using ACID 4.0 I get a latency of about 1/2 second. This means that I hear what play about half a second after I play it. Does anyone knows why? |

Because SBLive! has that problem with every sequenceprogramme, its not equipped for MIDI-recording. You can tweak your ASIO-settings a bit, but even then the latency is way too big. I switched to Terratec DMX 24/96 recently and brought my latency back to 4ms, which is practically nothing. Only the Audigy of SB produces decent results, but not as good as Terratec. There are also other good cards available I've understood, but none are of SB (except Audigy maybe). |

hmmm... but why it only happens under ACID? I can record just fine under FrutyLoops... |
